Actually there are a lot of manga styles today, especially shoujo ones, that have tremendous lips. I've noticed that especially with Korean manwa(?) it's become a fad.
Your design is really cool and well done...I like the font and the colours, the shapes and especially her hair is nice too. My biggest problem is that her face kind of scares me...same with her body. There's a lot of 'realistic' styled anime/manga out there, and I suggest before attempting your own that you take a look at some of them. Also, I know I complain about this a lot...but the contrast here is too heavy for the eyes on a desktop.
Overall, try not to be too discouraged by me =P if I didn't like it at all, I would not have even bothered to comment. =)

You might be right about the lips thing but it's unusually for me to c a character with big lips unless the character is black or something hehe.

I thank you for the advise but it's original art after all. I don't believe in limited my self to a style that's all ready exist that's what being a artist all about you have to develop your own style some people might like it some might not but that's the chance I take and i'm sry if it seems scary to you. Maybe i should explain my concept to you... The back and white on her face represent the opposite side of the character she might be white/black, have a good/bad side. It's for each and everyone to decide what they c. Therefore the text say "free to be who ever you are" which said enough about the character.

To bad you don't like the contras But it's design first and for most to use as a t-shirt and bags stuff like that the white part isn't really white it's in fact transparent. :)

I don't feel discourage at all. As long as i like it the rest don't really matter but it's always nice to hear what people think of my work. I thank you for taking your time to comment and give me your opinion i really appreciate it. Maybe someday u'll like what i do ^^

This is really good, well styled! My only complaint is that it's not in my resolution...but still it's a +fav for me!
